The AWS re:Invent Grid® is based off of real-user reviews from software tools sponsoring the event. Unlike other comparison guides and reports from analysts, the G2 Grid® relies on real user insights and publicly available market presence company data.

The ranking of these products is based off an algorithm from each individual product’s levels of customer satisfaction and likeliness to recommend ratings from real G2 Crowd software users. The tools that appear further to the right have higher level of user satisfaction, while the products that are towards the top have higher levels of market share and presence.

Products on the AWS re:Invent Grid® are listed below by quadrant: Leaders, High Performers, Contenders and Niche.

  • Products in the Leader quadrant are rated highly by G2 Crowd users and have substantial Market Presence scores.
  • High Performers are highly rated by their users, but have not yet achieved the market share and scale of the Leaders.
  • Contenders have significant Market Presence and resources, but have received below average user Satisfaction ratings or have not yet received a sufficient number of reviews to validate the solution.
  • Niche solutions do not have the Market Presence of the Leaders. They may have been rated positively on customer Satisfaction, but have not yet received enough reviews to validate them.
