Dreamforce Is Done, but for Six Families the Impact Is Forever

The booths are torn down and packed up. The swag has been handed out and carried home. And hopefully by now your feet are rested and you have recovered from an amazing week at Dreamforce 2017.

We had a fabulous time meeting friends old and new, seeing so many fellow sponsors on our real-time Dreamforce Grid® and learning new insights to take home and apply. We also shared some insights ourselves with several Dreamforce speakers, including Tim Handorf, G2 Crowd CEO, and Adrienne Weissman, Chief Customer and Marketing Officer. Not only that, we got to announce our new Salesforce Connector App and a landmark study conducted in partnership with Heinz Marketing: The 2018 Benchmark Report: The Impact of Reviews on B2B Buyers and Sellers.

Although Dreamforce 2017 has come and gone, thanks to everyone who wrote reviews at the G2 Crowd booth, the impact will continue on! For every review written at Dreamforce, we were thrilled to make a donation to New Story and contribute to its efforts building homes in Haiti. For many event attendees, that was the perfect reason to take a few minutes of their time and write a review. We were truly inspired by the number of people who were motivated to write a review simply because it would help someone they’ve never met (in another country, no less) but they knew they could make a difference for real people.

We closed our Dreamforce experience by presenting New Story with a check for $30,000 and we could not be more pleased. That $30,000 will build six homes for people in need in Haiti, in addition to providing jobs to the individuals building those homes.

While donating to New Story was the highlight of our Dreamforce experience, we simply couldn’t write a recap without mentioning the (re)introduction of Monty! Anyone passing by the booth got a chance to say hello to our lovable mascot Monty and snap a picture with him or give him a high-five!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and made our Dreamforce experience so great. To everyone who wrote a review, we truly can’t thank you enough! If you’d like to contribute to our goal of building 80 homes in Haiti, you can write a review here.

Dreamforce 2018 is in September — let the countdown begin!

P.S. Did we forget to mention the bouncy balls?

If you were at Dreamforce you may have noticed: They light up, basically making them the coolest bouncy balls ever.
