Our Interview Process
Our interview process was created to help us identify high-performing individuals who will succeed at G2 Crowd. Every step allows us to narrow down necessary qualifications to help us select the right candidate for the role.
Here is an overview of our application process to prepare you on what to expect as a candidate of G2 Crowd.
Online Assessment
The purpose of the pre-employment assessment is to provide a standardized method for gathering objective, job-related information across all G2 Crowd candidates. Your application is then evaluated on the collected information - work experience, skills, assessment data, and other information included in your application.
Phone Screen
If your application meets the necessary criteria to move forward, you will be contacted by a team member to arrange a next steps call. The purpose of the call, or phone screen, is to expound upon your qualifications for the position and confirm your cultural fit, as defined by our core company values at G2 Crowd.
Interview
Your interview day will consist of meetings with managers, executives, or colleagues who will explore your job-related abilities, behaviors, and motivations in order to evaluate your candidacy for the role. The purpose of the final interview, is to identify the candidate that is most likely to succeed and is the best fit for the job.
Research
The individuals on our research team thrive on high-quality content and data. As a candidate, you may be asked to submit writing samples or complete a writing or data analysis assignment as part of your interview.
Sales
Our sales team interacts with C-level professionals on a daily basis, so it is important for them to be polished presenters and excellent communicators. As a candidate, you may be asked to complete a mock sales presentation or a simulated customer call as part of your interview.
Development
For our development team, good code makes them giddy. As a candidate, you may be asked to complete a technical coding assignment as part of your interview.
